Mystic Media experiences the Empire State of Mind

New York City is a city of many things: tall buildings that stretch to the sky, streets covered in billboards blaring the latest advertisements day and night, crowds of people flowing like traffic on a busy highway without stopping and a rich, ever-changing multi century history on every corner–much different than the small towns and flat plains of North Dakota.

Back in December, MystiCast Executive Producer Taylor Paige submitted her documentary “For My Mother” to the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.

The documentary was soon nominated for a “best documentary” award at the College Media Awards. BSC Mystic Media was given the chance to attend the conferences from February 23-26 in the Sheraton Times Square Hotel in Manhattan.

During the conference, Taylor was given the Award for Best Documentary.
